So i have just recently moved in with my boyfriend and he has had this quaker parrot for the past 16 years. However, this parrot is very protective because of my boyfriends friends teasing him. I want for him to become more friendly with people, especially me because i find him beautiful. does any one have any tips? i can't hold him because i'm afraid of his bite... i'm a chicken. and i have to admit i will spoil him, giving him a chip or two every now and then, but i want him to feel comfortable around me..

Here is a link that provides videos of training tips for parrot owners, especially quaker parrots. Hope this will you in training your boy friend's quaker parrot.
